MAP; Mexico City, Amsterdam and Paris the three capitals of the birth countries of each designer. Ricardo Sanchez, Fanny De Ruijter and Virginie Pitiot. The designers wanted to highlight their multicultural background.

MAP,  three nationalities, three cultures, three stories, three different universes but one passion for creation.

Their first poetic collection is inspired by Matt Ross's Captain Fantastic film, released in 2016. The collection named ZAJA in reference to the name of the emblematic little girl of the film.
The character's way of living, the life in the forest and the ingenuity to create from very few, were the starting points of the collection.

The strength of the collection lies mainly in the innovative textile work. Different techniques like tricot, crochet, hand weaving and embroidery are the higlights of the collection. The designers did not hesitate to use everyday objects like metallic sponges to create certain embroideries and sleeping bags to create dresses.

ZAJA is characterized by a natural and childish universe. Sauvage nature of the film, inspired the botanical prints and embroideries, flowers with roots, stems, dried flowers or a "foam effect" fabric. The naiveté is found in printed scribbles of paint and children's writings.
The whole, gives a comfortable silhouette, a bold, colorful and playful collection.
